If you significantly increase the air in the air fuel mixture, yes a rejet is very likely needed. You will have to watch the plug's color and listen to the bike for lean surges etc. A lot depends on whether enough air can get in to the filter. We have started drilling holes in the filter cover, but same thing, is it increasing air to the filter with the side cover still in place? The pod filter Jim is talking about would be the most likely performance gain.
